About

Why FieldLane exists

FieldLane is built on an unfashionable conviction: the software a contractor bets their business on should protect that business — not just schedule it.

Every platform in this category can put a job on a calendar and a signature on a PDF. Almost none of them can tell you, two years later, exactly what the customer approved and when. None of them send the federally required right-to-cancel notice. None of them can account for the cash between the customer's kitchen and the bank. Those aren't features — they're the difference between winning a dispute and eating it.

So FieldLane is built record-first. Under the hood, the system doesn't store the current state of an approval and overwrite it — it stores every event that ever happened, in order, permanently. That's why an approval in FieldLane is evidence, not a screenshot. (That's one paragraph of architecture; there won't be a second.)

Built in the open

FieldLane is pre-launch. The roadmap tells you honestly what works today and what's still being built — including the native mobile apps in development. Early-access members work directly with the product team, and what they hit in the field shapes what gets built next.

Say hello

Reach us at hello@fieldlane.co — real replies, no ticket queue. If you run a plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general trade business and any of the above sounds like your Tuesday, we'd genuinely like to hear about it.

Be first in line

FieldLane is onboarding early-access crews as the field apps enter beta. Waitlist members get 3 months free and a direct say in what ships next.
