SMS Terms of Service
Last updated: April 5, 2026
FieldLane operates two separate messaging programs. They have different senders, different recipients, and separate consent. Only the first is currently active.
Program 1 — Messages from FieldLane (active)
FieldLane LLC is the sender. We message our own business customers and prospective business customers — US trade service contractors who have asked to hear from us. We do not message our customers' end consumers under this program. Messages include:
- Product demonstrations — a sample of how FieldLane's messaging looks, sent when a contractor asks to see it
- Onboarding — account setup and getting-started guidance
- Account notifications — billing, receipts, and account status for active subscribers
Consent
Consent is written and express. You enter your own mobile number on our website and tick a consent box that is unchecked by default. We do not accept a number given verbally and we never add a number on someone's behalf. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any FieldLane product. Full detail: SMS Opt-In & Consent.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies. A demonstration is typically a single message sent immediately after you request it. Account holders receive roughly 1–4 messages per month.
Program 2 — Messages sent by a service business through FieldLane (not yet active)
When FieldLane's job-management features are in use, a trade service business can send its own customers automated updates about their appointments — booking confirmations, reminders, arrival notifications, job completion summaries, estimate and invoice links, payment receipts, and feedback requests. In that program the service business is the sender and obtains consent from its own customers; FieldLane provides the software.
⚠️ This program is not operating today. Each participating business must be individually registered with the mobile carriers before it can send, and no such messages are being sent. These terms will be updated with that program's consent and opt-out detail before it begins.
Opt-Out
You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time. To stop receiving messages:
- Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final confirmation and no further texts.
- To resume receiving messages, reply START to the same number.
- Opting out of one program does not opt you out of the other — they are separate senders with separate consent.
