SMS Opt-In & Consent
Last updated: September 9, 2026
This page documents how recipients consent to receive text messages from FieldLane. Full program terms: SMS Terms · Privacy Policy.
Who sends, and who receives
FieldLane LLC is the sender. FieldLane sends text messages to its own business customers and prospective business customers — US trade service contractors (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) who have asked to hear from us.
FieldLane does not message its customers' end consumers under this program. Every recipient has a direct relationship with FieldLane: they requested a product demonstration, signed up for an account, or are an active subscriber.
How recipients opt in
Consent is written and express. The person enters their own mobile number into a form on fieldlane.co and ticks an unchecked consent box. We do not accept a number given verbally, and we never add a number on someone's behalf.
Consent is not a condition of purchase of any FieldLane product.
The consent form
This is the exact wording shown beside the mobile number field:
The box is unchecked by default, sits on its own rather than being combined with any other agreement, and names FieldLane inside the checkbox itself. We record the date, time and wording accepted.
What we send
Messages fall into three categories, and every one identifies FieldLane as the sender:
1. Product demonstration — sent when a contractor asks to see how FieldLane's messaging looks:
2. Onboarding — sent after account creation:
3. Account notifications — billing and account status for active subscribers:
Message frequency
Frequency varies. A demonstration is typically a single message sent immediately after the request. Account holders receive roughly 1–4 messages per month.
